Summary of this Tutorial:
Start by installing and activating the Dashboard Notepad plugin.
Go to your Dashboard and you will now see a notepad.
Write any notes you want and hit save.
You can click configure to change its name, size, who can edit it, and who can see it.
When you are finished editing click submit.
There is even a shortcode for if you want to show it on a page or post.
