Summary of this Tutorial:
Start by installing and activating the Redirection plugin.
Once activated go to Tools, Redirection to configure.
If you have a link that needs to be redirected enter the source url for the page and insert the url to be the new location and click add redirection.
When you type in the link that was redirected it should send you to the new page.
The 404 log will show all 404 pages that have been shown and the date, source URL, referrer, and IP to show who is sending people to the wrong link.
